As I’ve mentioned in my previous post about DIY confinement plan & that I’ve placed order with Peiling, now there is a slight change in the plan, yeah it’s very last minute change.
Frankly speaking, I’ve heard some not so good comment about the confinement food catering at Peiling lately & thus I’ve decided to switch to another caterer, SN-Nanny in Sri Petaling.
Since I’ve paid RM200 non-refundable deposit to Peiling, I’ve used the budget to exchange for some necessary goods like sesame oil, sesame cereal drink, ginger wines, for myself & my friends who want the goods as well.
I’ve placed the order with SN Nanny for their Flexi package, which includes 1 meat, 1 vege, 1 soup, 1 brown rice & 1 red dates drink at RM1200 for 30 days. On top of that I need to pay her additional RM300 for delivery as I wasn’t taking the full package (2 meats, 2 vege, 2 brown rice, 1 soup & red dates drink, incl delivery for 30 days at RM2200). I didn’t want to take the full package, as I still want some flexibility in my menu, where I (or my maid) can still prepare some extra dishes that I feel like eating at times.
SN Nanny also provide the double boiled chicken essence at RM15 per serving & I am planning to take on that too later (3rd week of confinement onwards), because I think the price is quite reasonable & it’ll save me time to prepare & I could have more time to rest & bonding with my baby & Dillon.
Anyway, everything is ironed out finally……
By this Saturday, I’ll be 39 weeks pregnant.
I got a few sms yesterday, checking if I’ve already popped because they didn’t see my posting in my blogs & I wasn’t online, thanks for all your kind concern.
Actually I have gone for check up at HUKM yesterday.
Well, I’m not quite there yet, as baby’s head still hasn’t engage. My weight is now 67kg (put on a total of 15kg since preggy), baby weighs about 3.1kg, which is very close to Dillon who was born at 3.19kg. Though you might not think I’m fat, but doctor has advised me better not to put on anymore weight, for an easier labour. (Well, I’ll still go & eat all my favourite food before I pop, LOL).
Everything is still fine with me, no swelling, cramping or even Braxton Hicks. I even went shopping at Mid Valley myself for a couple of hours yesterday, hehe
I’ll be going back for follow up check on next Wednesday, 4th July, if I still haven’t popped by then.
I wonder if anyone watch the show “The Miracle Of Life in the Womb – Twins, Triplets & Quads” on National Geographic Channel last night at 9pm? I have talked about it previously & I hope most of you have enjoyed the show.
I very much wanted to watch but I don’t have Astro at home. Luckily I have asked my colleague to record it for me and I’m gonna watch it later tonight.
I’ll share my views after watching & please feel free to drop your comments too.
Well I know I should be taking a lot of rest now, since I’ll due soon and need to take care of baby afterwards.
But what I’ve been actually doing was, spending at least an hour to two at night to play PC games. Normally Dillon will sleep around 10.30pm – 11.00pm so my game session will starts from 11pm – 12pm or sometimes 1am. This game addiction started since last 2 weeks when I was browsing the Yahoo! games site & downloaded a trial game to play on. After that I got addicted & found more cracked games & continue to play with; while munching on potato chips & cheezels…..
Now I wonder why is my butt getting heavier & seems like have been set on auto expansion mode lately…….

Current weight in 37th week is 66kg (+1.0kg since 34th week) and baby weighs 2.6kg (+0.3kg since 34th week also), both baby & mummy is fine. Doctor said the baby has turned but the head not yet engaged, so most probably I will not be giving birth anytime soon. This would be good as I still have a couple of occassions to attend within the next couple of weeks; also plan to watch the Transformers which will be in cinema this month end…….haha
Since 2 weeks ago, I’ve started taking coconut drink once to twice a week as many said it helps to cool down the body. Appetite is good but can’t eat too much at one go. Baby’s movement is a lot more aggressive, esp at night. Luckily I don’t have leg cramp & swollen feet problem. I can still sleep pretty well, except that it takes me a lot of effort whenever I want to turn & change my sleeping position.
Need not mention that I’m getting more & more lazy and how I wish I could just stay at home. But the fact is, I still have lots of thing to settle & hand over to my colleague before I go on maternity leave.
My next appointment at HUKM will be on 27th June, in my 38th week.
Maybe some of you have already seen this, but I just got this clip forwarded from my friend and I thought it has good meaning behind.
Just to share the video here with everyone, esp parents.
It is absolutely true when people says you know how the parents are like by looking at their kids.

I believe this would be a great show, so don’t miss it!
When I was in the bed last night, I told myself that I have to bring along my charger to office tomorrow, as I’ve fogotten to charge my phone before I went to bed & was too lazy to get up after I’ve lied down.
Before I left my room this morning, I did remember to bring the charger and I feel like ‘hey, my memory is still not too bad, at least I did not forget it this time’ (haha, feeling proud for a few seconds)
As soon as I reached office, I took out the charger & wanted to charge my phone, only then I realised that I’ve left it at home……..
So I have the charger today, but not the phone. :-<
I was at HUKM this morning to do the MGTT test and a small incident happened when I went to the toilet. I saw this old lady (A) in the cubicle for disabled people & another old lady with a tongkat (B) was waiting to use the cubicle (door was opened).
They were both talking while I was waiting in line at other cubicles:
B: Can you come out on your own?
A: I’ve been trying to get up & wear my pants.
B: What is wrong with you?
A: I lost one of my legs so it’s bit hard for me.
B: IC…. that is really inconvenient for you, maybe I can help? Then this old lady wanted to go into the cubicle to help but she also has difficulties to walk and eventually dropped her tongkat as well.
There are several people who saw this scene but none is helping, so without thinking for long, I decided to lend my hands, it’s not easy as the old lady is quite big size & with my big tummy, I can barely squeeze into the cubicle. Anyway, I manage to help this poor lady to pull up her pants, help her to sit back in the wheel chair & then push her out; when I reached the toilet exit, no one is helping to open & hold the door either, they are just looking at a pregnant woman holding the door with one hand & pushing the wheel chair with another………. The old lady’s son was waiting right outside the toilet to fetch her & he thank me for helping.
I don’t know what was wrong with the other people in the toilet at the time, they are all young ladies & none is pregnant. They noticed there is someone needed help, but they choose to be onlooker. Imagine the scenario where a pregnant woman & an old lady are trying to help a disabled old lady, while the rest just watching, how pathetic hor?
It was my birthday on 7th June (Thu) and hubby & I had dinner at this nice Japanese Restaurant called Rakuzen, located in the Hartamas Shopping Center.
I had lunches here before & I like the ambiance & food served, and the price for the set lunch is quite reasonable, for example you can get a Unagi Kabayaki or Beef/Chicken Teriyaki set that comes with chawanmushi, miso soup, rice, salad & fruits at RM28 only.
For dinner that night, hubby ordered a typical Chicken Teriyaki set (RM28) & I ordered a Sashimi & Tempura set (RM45); the sashimi was so fresh & the portion is definitely value for money.
I had this Bento (RM68) & shared it with my colleague for lunch, it doesn’t come with rice but you can order separately. It’s nice & value for money.
Following the non-paying lunch incident happened last 2 weeks, here is something happened to me recently:-
1. Left or Right?
Took the car to petrol station, stop at driver’s side & then doubt that the oil pump is actually on the passenger’s side; made a U-turn to the pump on the other side, look out at the side mirror & changed my mind again, drove back to the initial pump and got down the car, only to realize that I was wrong (it is at passenger’s side indeed). Luckily the attendant managed to pull the hose over to fill the petrol for me, otherwise I would have to make another U-turn again…….
(But I knew that he tried very hard to not laugh in front of me)
2. Weird dreams
Had a dream that I delivered my baby fast, easy & painless (hope this part will come true, hehe) and I brought the baby home. Then when I changed the diaper, I saw the lil’ penis!! I was so shocked & started to curse the doctor for telling me the wrong thing……
(Actually even this is true, I won’t overreact as it’s still my baby)
Dreamt that when I went to toilet at home, my water bag broke and I delivered my baby in the toilet, it was so real that I even hold the baby in my hands, and the baby started crying….. But I didn’t check on the gender, was too terrified at that point in time…..
(This gotta be a dream only, I have no guts for home birth……)
