Let’s Deliver Smiles charity project – Phase 1 has received good response and support from all kind hearted people. Although time is short where we have only 2 weeks to spread the news, collect and sorting the stuffs, it’s really not to juggle but we have made it in time and deliver all items to the homes before Christmas. We even picked the new or used but in excellent conditions items and had a jumble sale in the office and we managed to raise RM 570.00 cash!!!

Although the idea was initiated by just a few people (who at first barely had a clue on how to start running the project) but with the support from everybody, this project became a success. We have delivered the donated items, which includes clothing, toys, sports equipment, books, food and drinks to the following 6 homes:

1. WAO CCC (PJ)
2. Beautiful Gate Caring Center (PJ)
3. Shelter Christian Fellowship For Aid and Welfare Selangor (PJ)
4. Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Spastik Selangor (PJ)
5. Rumah Kebajikan Anbu Illam (Ulu Klang)
6. Rumah BAKTI (Ulu Klang)

Special thanks to:
1. Mary who delivered to WAO CCC and a kind PR company that donated a cheque.
2. Mike who delivered to Beautiful Gate & Shelter Home.
3. Kenny who delivered to Spastik Home
4. Fei who delivered to Anbu Illam and Bakti along with myself and Dillon (he just accompanied me only, hehehe)

And also thanks to my family members, colleagues, friends and my blog visitors (you know who you are), you are part of this meaningful project and I truly appreciate your contributions.

Although we cannot help all the less fortunate people out there but we could at least do what we can at best, it might be small but it’s the thought that counts, sometimes it may only takes time and effort to make thigns happen.

This is not the end, it’s just the beginning, it will and it should continue……Stay tuned for Phase 2 of this charity project and I wish you could be part of it too.
