I have read from a mag stated that some reseach said that we can determine a baby whether they are a right handed or lefty even when they are in the womb. Hmm...

Sometimes I also noticed my girl loves to use her left hand to write, for me I am ok with it. I think maybe is good to let Dillon developed by himself? So that he will know which hand to use is more better and convenient for him.

My bryan is left handed since he was born! But my mom tends to switch him to right hand when it comes to writing, feeding, etc. So now, most of the time he uses his right hand to write, color, eat. But other things, like throwing a ball, kicking a ball, he uses his left hand and left leg.

Nevermind if he using both hand, the important is he feel comfortable eg. writing with left hand, eating with right hand.

karenyiau: I didn't really notice which hand he uses to hold spoon most often, but writing wise he is switching between both hands.

my dotter use both hand for coloring, holding chopsticks or spoon, right hand for writing. it is good that they use both hand, dun worry.

karenyiau: ya i'm not worry, just wondering if I should encourage him to use his left hand when writing. :)

My dotter is left-handed, we didn't realise she is left-handed (actually since small, she hold thing, take toys using left hand, blur mummy did not notice only).

I only knew when she start to eat by her own using the spoon. She only can use left hand to write but right hand totally cannot write, not like Dillon.

Maybe you can observe how often he use left hand to hold thing, using spoon....then you will know, he is left or right.

karenyiau: thanks vivian, i didn't really pay attention what hand he is using to hold spoon, i thought both hands also got use.....hmmm i shall let him be and observe how it goes.
