I’m so sakit hati every time I see Kaith’s leg, as she has many marks on her leg. The marks were actually caused by mozzie bites, and after Kaith scratch on them, it leaves the ugly mark on her leg.

Some people told me that these marks will fade away as she grows up because children’s skin regenerate very fast. But I’m still concern over it, what if the marks stay on like that and won’t go away? It is sure not a pretty sight when she wears shorts or skirts.
Anybody know if there is any effective lotion/remedy out there to lighten these marks or better still, totally get rid of it?

1My daughter’s leg used to be worst than your Kaith b4. Her school have a lot of mosquitoes during some period. So I apply the Mosi-Guard Spray for her when she go to school.
But I can see the scar can fade off in few months time (depends how serious the scratches). No need to worry.
karenyiau: I just see her getting more and more marks, maybe she is fair so can still see quite obvious……

3Hi KazyLau, not to worry, the marks will go off. Unless its leech bites.
When we young lived next to padi fields and my sisters all had bad bite marks, but they all disappeared when growing up.
But I have mine, from my work involving jungles and estates…all leech marks. Been with me even today.
When asked I say, “Vietnam”, ha ha.
You have a pleasant weekend, best regards, Lee.

4My aunty share with me this Dermaveen Moisturising Lotion http://www.productreview.com.au/showitem.php?item_id=41592 she said work for her child. Or you might try Bio Oil as it said can help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone.

6I really hate Mozzies. Thats exactly what they did to Sarah. Her legs, hands, nose and arms also got marks now.
Normally I will apply the Johnson Mozzie Lotion whenever I bring her to park.
