It would be most ideal to wear it while lying by the bedside, so that the Bengkung Mia is tighten up perfectly.

1. Lay the Bengkung correctly, with the long string at the bottom left. Best to do this when lying by the bedside.

2. Adjust the Bengkung, it should start from your underchest, and cover up till under hip.

3. Start tying the long string from the bottom, if you do this when lying down, it's more comfortable & easier to lift your head with a pillow.

4. Continue to tie the string in zig zag fashion, be sure to pull the string & tighten it up to your comfort, not too loose but not overly tight at the same time.

5. Lastly, tie a knot with the shorter string on top to ensure the Bengkung is held in place.

6. Done. The Bengkung should look neat like this when correctly worn.

How to choose the right bengkung size?

~ For those who are pregnant, you may refer to your pre-pregnancy waist measurement or you may take the measurement of your under chest now as a rough guide.
~ If your measurement falls in between 2 sizes, take the smaller size. For instance if your measurement is 27 to 28 inches, i.e. between size S & M, take size S then.
